I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at BMO Financial Group (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2016
Interview
I received a call from a recruiter who had found my resume online, she said she had an opportunity at a Large Financial Institution. I met with her in person and she thought I would be a good fit for the organization. I didn't know it was with BMO until the end of the interview with her. She arranged an interview pretty quickly after that with a few people at BMO. Met first with two Administrative Managers, and the person currently occupying the role (separately). They offered me a job at the of the interview process, which I accepted. The whole process was extremely quick. I think the thing that took the longest was the recruiter doing the reference and background checks!

Question 1
About past experience, how to handle tough situations, why I was interested in the role, what my career aspirations were, etc.
I applied online. I interviewed at BMO Financial Group
Interview
It was very complicated with several non required steps. It was included a minimum of four stages with different people where everyone asking the same questions over and over. Questions were very standard and I felt they were reading them online and only searched before the interview
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BMO Financial Group (Vancouver, BC) in Feb 2023
Interview
The interview process consisted of 3 stages: an initial call with the recruiter, a meeting with the team and finally, a call with the executive who I'd be assisting. The interview questions weren't too difficult, it was mainly about discussing my previous experiences and how would I act in certain situations. Everyone was really nice and I felt excited to interview. They clearly explained the next steps and when to expect to hear from them. Until... when the last deadline passed, I got ghosted. Nobody from the team would reply to my follow-ups and about a month after the so-said deadline I received a template rejection from the recruiter. I was genuinely shocked by how it was handled after spending a couple of hours on 3 different calls, especially by such a reputable company as BMO. I would not recommend it.

Great experience with the recruiter. Fast friendly and a helpful person. I did not get the job but was contacted for another position. Easy going and felt welcomed. Long process with 3 interviews but it's a bank.
