In typical Berkshire Hathaway fashion, they think their time is worth 10x yours so they won't hesitate to waste it in the name of their "processes". I got a codility link after applying. 90 minute, 2 question assessment. The questions were as basic as you could get but would take some time to put together. I immediately quit out and withdrew my application. It would take 5 minutes of someone with a technical background to scan my resume/github and understand we can just do the interview. This is not a brag. I'm not some FAANG leet coder. I just know how to do my job.
When I was a new grad, I applied to another BH company and was told after 90 minutes of assessment (including the wonderlic of all things) and 6 hours cumulative of interviews that I was OVERqualified and wouldn't be given an offer. Their HR rep contacted me a week later asking me to apply for a LOWER level position. I've heard working for them is good because of job stability, but just understand you will have to jump through hoops at their command and be surrounded by bureaucracy at all times.
