Laid back not very intimidating for a kid right out of college. Dress professional even though the office is business casual you should wear a full suit or nice dress.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at BNY in Feb 2016
Interview
Had a phone interview with HR that went well, standard questions. Then an in-person was set up with the manager of that department. When I got to the location, the manger had the supervisor sit in on the interview. The manager explained what he is looking for, didn't really seem interested in my resume. Didn't go over my experience. He kept on saying what he is looking for, not necessarily what's best for his company/department. The supervisor asked if I knew how to use excel, that's all he asked. Definitely one of the worst interviews I've ever had. Seems to me like they were very unprepared to meet with me. I sent thank you letters to HR and she forwarded it to him. No response, no follow up.
