BNY Analyst, Client Onboarding/Transitions/Conversions/KYC interview questions

Had 3 rounds of interview. Then a final email from their recruiter on availability, salary expectations, visa and current location in UK. The whole process took 2 months. Upon replying the final email, complete radio silence for a week and a half. Then I emailed to ask for an update. Received a reply a day later stating they would like to have a phone call with me. They called to say I was better off in a client facing role. Basically they called to reject me.
