I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works (Asheville, NC) in Oct 2012
Interview
I got hired as a seasonal employee, so my hiring/interview was a lot easier than it would have been otherwise. They only look at one of your references, and they basically hire everyone who applies. They give you a call if your application and reference checks out and tell you to come in for the end of a shift. It was a group interview for me. Three of us talked about our experience in retail (I had none) and the manager would tell us what they expected of us. We had to pretend to sell a product (of our choice) to the manager. Basically, if your application looks good, you have good references, and you apply when they're hiring for the holiday season, you'll get hired.

Question 1
There weren't really any questions that I can recall. I remember being nervous about having to "sell" a product to the manager, but I did really well.
