I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Baxter (Deerfield, IL) in Dec 2017
Interview
Interview process took about 6 month from first phone interview until receiving an offer. Very disjointed process with a total of 10 different interview "experiences" from phone meetings to meeting up to 3 people in person. Typical Questions but lots of disconnect between those interviewing me and the final schedule. Major issues with this company. They advertised the role as Remote and when talking to the hiring manager the first time he agreed that remote with visits to the office would work. Before the offer they changed their mind and said this role could never be remote. The only offered entry level vacation and when presented with the offer was told that the vacation was non negotiable though I know from several other directors that it is negotiable. They have re-posted the role as remote to encourage more people to apply but this is a bait and trap situation. Experienced and Excellent candidates (22+ years for me) would never accept this treament from any company and I was happy to turn down the offer. Too long of a process; Bait and Switch; Mixed messages and COMPLETE HORRIBLE ARROGANCE!!!!!!
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Baxter (Deerfield, IL) in Sep 2018
Interview
Five formal interviews for the position including video based and later in person with Supply Chain team officers. The questions were primarily accountability and situational based. All interviewers were professional and friendly.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Baxter (Raleigh, NC) in Sep 2017
Interview
Seemed that no one knew what was going on. I was told that they would interview other candidates and not talk to me. Then an interviewer contacted me out of the blue for a phone interview. After 4 phone interviews, I was invited to travel for 6 on-site interviews as one of 2 final candidates. Afterwards, I received a very impersonal computer generated email letter saying thank you but no thank you. Then I was denied submission of an expense report for travel to the interview hundreds of miles to the site of their choice. Overall a very impersonal and negative experience.
You would think final candidates would receive a more personal communication and would be paid for expenses incurred for travel of over 300 miles for the interview. What does that say to you about this company?

Question 1
I was asked about my background as it pertains to the position. They also asked questions about how I would use this experience to be successful in the position. Additional hypothetical questions about how I would handle situations. It was a difficult process of 6 back to back interviews with no break.
