I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bazaarvoice (Austin, TX) in Dec 2020
Interview
I was referred in by someone who works there. I got set up with a screening call which went well. Then I did a mock email to a client as an assignment from the recruiter. From there I was passed onto a manager for a phone interview. It felt a little off to me, like maybe he wasn't prepared or I just wasn't saying what he wanted to hear.

Interview
I had 3 great rounds of interviews, and got rejected after the final one. I didn’t mind the rejection so much and I minded going through a month’s time of interviews only to get a no at the end. The second interview for me was a “role play”. I don’t come for a business background, and spent an entire weekend studying for this role play. TIP: REJECT PEOPLE BEFORE THE ROLE PLAY. I wish I would’ve gotten my “no” before then. Why waste so much of our time?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bazaarvoice (London, England) in Apr 2020
Interview
Efficient and transparent process — all the more commendable given the current situation ! A real team effort between HR and Sales with Louis, Ria and Marcin keeping me informed and up to date with the process throughout. As a candidate, this is something I greatly appreciate and found to be lacking at other places I was interviewing.
The process involved 4 stages after an initial LinkedIn message (thanks Louis). The first was a typical screening call with HR, followed by a 30 minute interview with the Hiring Manager. The third stage was a company research essay and an email role play based on your research which if successful, resulted in 4 back-to-back interviews with various people in the department.
Feedback was comprehensive and relayed to me twice by HR and the Hiring Manager. Further time was also taken out by the team to answer any further questions I had once I was offered. Special thanks to Ria, who answered my questions outside of work hours and who kindly fitted interviews around my schedule !
Thank you very much for your feedback - I've passed it onto both Ria and Louis. Excited to see you are coming on board so we look forward to 'virtually' welcoming you soon!
