I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at BetterUp (Washington, DC) in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview process was long and thorough but gave me ample opportunities to learn about the company, meet people in a variety of roles, and determine if it would be a good fit for both parties.

Question 1
How does my personal story and career experience to date connect to the company mission?
5 rounds of behavioral interviews with various BetterUppers, case study with the VP, founders interview. One round of interviews is also a live scenario walk through similar to a consulting interview.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at BetterUp
Interview
I had a call with the recruiter first. I believe he is in-house. His calendar invite was for 25 minutes. It felt rushed. He talked mostly about the position and the company. A few questions about me. It felt like I had everything they were looking for. He sent me a link to some video questions around their values. I completed the video right away and three days later got an e-mail saying I would not be going forward with any more interviews. No explanation. It feels so incomplete. So unhuman-like. Even something like "you are a really bad interviewer" or we need "XYZ and you don't have it" would have felt better than what they did.
