The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BlackRock (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2012
Interview
People at the office were friendly. Had first rounds on campus, which was both fit and technicals. They're really looking for people who continually improve themselves. Was invited to super day, four/five interviewers who were all nice. Asked fit questions about your resume, and very basic technicals. For PAG, a lot of it is related to fixed income, bonds, yield curves, convexity and duration. They also like it if you know a lot about the firm and their culture.

I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at BlackRock
Interview
Had first-round interview and then final-round interview a week later. First-round interview was 2x30 minute interviews, and final-round interview was 4x30 minute interviews. Nothing of the unexpected really, but the technical interview was the hardest part for me.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BlackRock in Nov 2018
Interview
I applied through the online application proccess. I had an online HireVue interview based on two recorded questions about me and blackrock. Next it was the First Round Interview, which was also done through HireVue, but this time it was a live interview. It consisted of two 30 minutes rounds(with the last 5-10 min for my questions) based around blackrock’s core values. The interviewrs were very friendly and I have heard back from the company on the same day, inviting me for the Final Round Interview. I am yet to attend the assesment centre in a few days but I am hopung everything goes well.

Pre-recorded video interview (Hirevue) with two questions. Five mins to prepare and two/two and a half minutes to answer. The questions were very straightforward. The usual fit questions. Just research about the firm before the interview and you should be good.
