I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BlackRock in Mar 2016
Interview
It was a video interview - one way. Three questions and the words were projected instead of being spoken. I was given 30 secs to think before having 1 min 30 secs to answer. Overall, very professional interview. They asked much more intriguing questions compared to the typical 'Why this company?' 'Why this division?' 'Why your university?' 'What are your strengths?'. They will definitely be able to weed out the 'bad' ones very quickly because you need to demonstrate a genuine passion for fund management and finance very early on.
