Block by Block interview questions

Contacted by this company after applying to them online for an on the phone interview. They asked me basic questions and mentioned the hours of availability I had placed on the application. They told me the position is a night and weekend only position and I probably would not qualify to a lack of transportation. They told me that if my situation changes and I do obtain a vehicle to give them a call I found the comments regarding myself not having a vehicle to be insensitive and the phone call to be a waste of time. If they saw that I cannot work weekends and nights, why did they even bother calling me

Very scattered communication; initially they were very responsive and then I heard nothing for a few weeks. They reached out again apologizing for the delay and seemed to move quickly with 2 interviews in a week. The President and Vice President said they would get back to me by Monday; this was on a Friday. Didn’t hear anything until about Thursday; said they were still in the consideration process. After that and to this writing…about 6 weeks later still haven’t heard anything. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Not mad about not getting the job…just communicate….it’s not hard!
