I applied online and was contacted within a few days for a preliminary phone interview with the London office. I was contacted at the time that they had specified in the email and the questions were very basic....please walk me through your resume.,..etc. I would say that they are mostly looking for proof that you know all about the company, including their client base, their top competitors and what differentiates them. they also asked why i was interested in a position at Bloomberg and what made me a good fit for this position. The difficulty in the interview was that there was absolutely no feedback from the interviewer. She was very kind, but made no comments on any of my answers which made it less of a conversation and more a fill-in-the blank type experience. at the end of the interview, she told me that she would let me know the outcome of my interview within the next couple of days. I interviewed this morning and my fingers are crossed.

6 month interview cycle so it takes a while to actually talk to managers. The trader was not the nicest and would laugh after interviews. Overall a really long process
