The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Mar 2011
Interview
First round was easy, large group of potential candidates in a room, introduce yourself in 30s, and they introduced Bloomberg as a company. Then we had to do a group-based presentation to the Bloomberg ppl (2HR and 2 dept people). Should try to speak up and get noticed throughout.
The second round interview was a 1:1 with the Team Leader after shadowing an analyst for 30mins. general sales question and run through resume.
The third round was a 2:1 interview with 2 more senior people. They asked more finance-based questions and ran through the resume. Again a general sales question. Told me more abt the role, and what was expected.
Didn't get my last interview.
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Jun 2024
Interview
6 month interview cycle so it takes a while to actually talk to managers. The trader was not the nicest and would laugh after interviews. Overall a really long process
