My first impression was that this company seemed like a billionaire's play thing--hard to take seriously. They make you give a 1 hour presentation about yourself, but the question they are most interested in is: Why do you want to work here. They want to hear that you are totally psyched about human habitation of space. There was almost no probing of my experience in this 1 hour presentation. The following one-on-ones were just quiz sessions on basic tech stuff--not all of it was relevant to the job. There was no opportunity to talk about the details of the job. The interviews were obviously high on themselves, as it seemed they were more interested in showcasing themselves than getting at my abilities. In fact, the display of ego proved to be a theme there. They are not that technically smart, but they think they are. This seems to be a theme in the space industry: management ego and not listening to the engineers. This combined with the expected liberal elitism of the nouveau-Seattle and it seems a pretty arrogant place.
