I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Blue Yonder (Bengaluru)
Interview
They called for an interview on Saturday for senior java developer.
First round was online - Questions: There were some objective questions-given code snippet find the output along with one program : You know how many liters of fuel your car uses per hour for certain speeds and you have to find out how far a certain amount of fuel will take you when travelling at the optimal speed. Time limit was 90 minutes.
Post clearing online test they align me to first face to face round. Question: mostly on OOPS, interfaces vs abstract class, which one to prefer while creating your own exception - Checked or unchecked and why, equals hashcode contract, write program to insert an element in a heap, you have n containers of different size find the minimum number of containers required(you can put small dimension containers in bigger one).
Clearing this round they align me to second f2f discussion with manager. Questions: Most challenging work you have done in your past projects, puzzle: find the faulty ball amongst 8 balls in minimum attempts.
Everything went well till this time.
Clearing second round they asked me for documents, post which they started negotiating a lot on my expected salary. (Expected salary was told before scheduling the interview)
Till this time I got to know that they cant meet my expected salary and going further will be like further wasting my time. But still they asked me lot to come for final director round to complete the process.
I went to their office after a week for director round. Post director round, after 2 weeks they reverted saying we are not processing further.
Total waste of time. If you are working in some good product company I will suggest don't waste time going there for interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Blue Yonder (Hyderābād) in Nov 2025
Interview
Got shortlisted for the final round, and HR was proactively reminding prior interview. Then, HR ghosted after third round of interview, where i have performed best in all the three rounds.
Advise: Should at least spend just a couple of seconds to respond with feedback, just let the candidate know if it is positive or negative instead of ghosting. I would suggest to be professional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
DSA question, behavioral questions, question related to your resume
Fairly regular process with 2 technical rounds and 1 hr round, 1st technical round is more technical, questions around spring boot, transactions, and a coding question as well. 2nd round more of a problem solving around multithreading
Interview was very good and they explained about the project and asked what was necessary to their product. The manager and HR responded really well for every doubt i had. They provide free lunch for the employees.
