I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (Alexandria, VA) in Oct 2020
Interview
I went through the university recruiting process on my graduate school's Handshake job portal by applying online in September. In October, I had a recruiter screening and one interview via Zoom with the hiring manager. There were no "gotcha" technical questions as all interview questions were behavioral and experiential. Overall, compared to other companies (worst was Capital One), Booz Allen exhibited more friendliness and professionalism throughout the recruitment process.

Interview
Phone Screening, then Interview with two architects. I was deemed a "firm fit" and the "Interview" was on the portal for weeks. So certainly no offer. Recruiter ghosted me afterwards

Question 1
Describe an pitfall you've experienced and how you overcame it.
There were two interviews. One was with the recruiter, and the meeting was 30 minutes long, mainly focused on my background with a little bit of technical discussion. Then I had the actual interview scheduled after the meeting with the recruiter.
The interview was 1.5 hours long and was broken into three sessions: technical, leadership, and then a final session that included both technical and leadership questions. The questions were based on my résumé, so everything they asked me related to my background, past experience, what tools I used, and how I used them.
Good interview process, very concise and responsive. One round of interviews then a response within the week of an offer or denial. Interview team was organized and flexible to work around my current job's schedule.
