I was asked to put together a market overview presentation for an area the company was considering over a weekend. I was told this was pretty standard for commercial roles. After spending the entire weekend and receiving very positive feedback on my work I was informed that I did not meet the basic requirements for the job and thus was no longer being considered for the role.
