I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Box (Austin, TX) in Apr 2017
Interview
Absolutely Wonderful. The recruiting team does an incredible job of over communicating and responding asap to any questions you have throughout the process. There are several different pieces to it (phone screen, in person, presentation and panel interviews) so I think the process really gives candidates the chance to showcase their unique skills. Very impressed with the process and how quickly they do things.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about your sales strategy and how that came to be? Where have you succeeded and what are some examples of when you've had to modify the way you previously did things?
Very inconsistent communication. Long gaps with no updates, followed by urgent requests to interview. The process felt unstructured and poorly coordinated. Felt unprofessional and disorganised. Not sure why, maybe I was just a backup.
Great interview process, quite lengthy but really well thought out. There was a call with recruiters, then hiring managers conversations, cultural fit call, panel meeting and then an in person meeting.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Box (London, England) in Jul 2025
Interview
Applied online. Did initial recruiter interview, seemed very positive during the call and said she was going to follow up after the call to move me to the next round. Never received any follow up and was ghosted after emailing twice. Awful.
