      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Box (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2021

      Interview

It was lengthy with quite a few interviews including one panel interview for fit. Everyone was insanely kind and generous with candor. The Recruiting team has to be one of the best in the industry. My main point of contact in the recruiting department was Nicole. She consistently went above and beyond to make sure that I was in the loop. Just plain awesome to work with. Overall a great experience!

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Box in Mar 2024

      Interview

Considering I had 15 years experience and had successfully worked and overachieved target for 3 years at their direct competitor in the exact role I COULD have really made a substantial difference to their profits had they not had a ludicrous interview method. 30 min interview with HR, then 30 min interview with hiring manager who wanted me to interview with 8 other people first before final panel interview (alarm bells started to ring, did they not have confidence in their own decisions?), met with technical specialist who had been there for 8 years, glowing response, really keen to work with me, met with sales manager, same reaction really thought I would work well especially considering my direct competitor background, then met with the head of consultancy. We had technical issues on the call, when I closed them at the end if they had an reservations they said that they hadn't had time to ask me some questions around value proposition (which is all I did at my last role as it was the same product!). Instead of rescheduling I then get an email saying that they were not going any further. 4 weeks of interviews, 5 interviews in and this was the result. Extremely short sighted way of interviewing and after 3 months they are STILL trying to recruit for the role.
