I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Braze (London, England) in Oct 2016
Interview
- Initial call with recruitment team to discuss what I want from the role and my salary expectations.
- In person meeting with GM of the office.
- Data normalisation test shared in Excel to complete and send back.
- Follow up call with head of department to discuss experience and what I'm looking for.
- Final in person meeting with two senior members of the department where I had to present a review of the marketing strategy of another business, and make suggestions of what Braze could do to improve it.

Question 1
You've never worked in a tech company before, how do you know it's for you? What is you realise in a few months it's not and there is a hole in your CV?
Very positive. Lots of information provided to help with the interview process and incentives to show gratitude for the time it takes to interview. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly, it seems like a great place to work
Screening call with the recruiter, easy take home assessment, 3x rounds with Customer Success Directors. Everyone I spoke with was nice, but I got rejected with an automated email providing no feedback. Considering they are not a big company, they should consider providing feedback to applicants to avoid ruining the application experience
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Braze (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2025
Interview
This was a standard tech interview with a recruiter, then managerial interview with a hiring manager. Followed by a decision. The process was relatively simple and straightforward. The interviewers were prompt and polite
