The Interview Process was pretty intense comparing with other companies. This role particularly was to cover EMEA & APAC. I applied and during my very first stage ( screening with the internal recruiter) I explained that I do not have APAC experience but would love to gain more International knowledge. Following this stage I had a 30 minute chat with the hiring manager which went really well. After this I was asked to draw up a project plan for a new benefit and some excel testing, which initially was supposed to take 2hrs, but honestly if you want to get things done properly it took longer. I had a a great feedback about my work so was invited to attend the final stage which is 2.5 hrs interview with the team. It was in total 5 people jumping on and off the call. To be completely honest it was super exhausting and a little off putting to go through this when after 2 weeks and 2 chaser emails from me I was told they wanted someone with APAC experience.
The most disappointing thing was that the during the interview process recruiters were really quick to respond to arrange the times for stages, once the final interview was done, I didn't hear anything for 2 weeks. To improve candidate experience i would suggest to respect their time more and only do 2.5 hr interview and 4 hr tests if you really think you will be hiring them.
