Call with HR, who shares information saying the interview will be collaborative and more about problem solving process.
Coding session with a developer who is typing furiously the whole time for some reason. I felt a little slow on the day, but I completed two questions.
After coding, I ask about the engineering process within the team. Interviewer describes a very weak process, where they don't even have CI/CD.
HR sends a rejection, with the only feedback being "you didn't get to the 3rd problem".
I check and the posting is already removed, so I assume it was already filled before my coding session.
Overall, a strange mix on this one. In summary:
* lower advertised TC than similar companies
* described lack of modern engineering process at the company, meaning a lot of inefficiencies and stress on the job
* non-collaborative interview that seems to only care that you can pump out a solution
