Applied and heard back from the Director, Talent Acquisition in a timely manner. We had a great first conversation over the phone, walked away from that feeling excited about Braze and it's culture, and also much more well versed in the product and company growth plans. From there I was invited into the office to meet the team shortly after. The space is amazing, and I loved the team that I met! The panel offered multiple perspectives - some employees that had been with the organization for a long time, others that had recently joined. Each conversation was different, which was great because I wasn't having to answer the same questions repeatedly and it also offered insight into how I could potentially fit in and work with the team. Everyone I met with was beyond wonderful and passionate about the culture, which really resonated with me because that's what I look for first and foremost. I quickly received an offer, but due to personal reasons I decided to decline. The Director, Talent was more than understanding, patient and supportive while I made my decision, as I don't take these decisions lightly. I really look forward to remaining in touch for future opportunities on the team as they come to fruition and when the timing is more right on my end. Overall, I had a great experience interviewing with Braze.
