Applicants were asked to make a simple single page app that display data from ajax calls. It was a pokemon database and the end product resembled a mini pokedex. The project had to be under source control with git. All applicants who submitted their repo got through to a panel interview. The interview wasn't technical in a leetCode/ Hackerrank sense, but was more a gauge of enthusiasm and commitment.
