Brightedge Technologies Software Engineer interview questions

First two phone interviews, standard interview questions, reversing a linked list etc. Then I had a personality interview, the first red flag. I was asked to solve ridiculous riddles in about 3 minutes while being asked random questions about my background. This was absolutely unnecessary and felt almost insulting. Then got asked to come for an onsite interview. I had some introductory talks with a few engineers (at that point they only had about 10 engineers) and then met their CTO Lemuel Park. He gave me an overlook of their company and their future plan, so far so good. One thing that made me a little uneasy was that every employee mentioned that you have to work 12+ hours every day. I'm aware that in a startup with limited resources this is sometimes necessary but the fact that every single engineer I talked to mentioned this was a red flag. I was then asked to do a coding exercise on a computer they supplied me. Wasn't giving much except here is a computer try to get some local search program done in approx. 3 hours. I felt like I didn't do great but I had something working so that concluded the interview. To my surprise about a week after I received an offer from them.
