The process took 4 weeks approximately. The recruiter was very helpful, prompt, professional and informative throughout the entire process. There was a phone interview with the recruiter to set expectations about the position, to ensure that this was a good fit for both the company and me, understand a salary range, and understand more about the culture of the company. The second phone interview was with my direct manager. This was to to clearly understand the role, ensure that I was confident in fulfilling the responsibilities of the role, understanding my past experiences and how they can attribute to the role, and to answer specific questions that I had about the position and company. Both interviews were very informative and did a great job of setting expectations for the in-person interview. My face-to-face interview consisted of five different interviews from different departments. I believe this is to have a collaborative decision made about if I would fit in the culture of the company. The interview process demonstrated to me that BT cares deeply about maintaining a positive energetic culture built with seasoned talents in all areas. They want to make sure that you will bring something to the table because it is a forward thinking company. I read a previous review about diversity and I have to disagree. BT is a diverse company in many areas and I am a reflection of it. The most important attribute is that you bring the unique skill set, positive energy, forward thinking with you so that the morale remains high throughout. I received an offer the day after the interview. It was very competitive and well endowed.
