Interview
Had two phone calls with very typical questions on experience, background, education. Interviewers were not personal or friendly but professional overall. It is helpful to browse through their website for information on the company and the standards for the industry before the interview. Very transparent company that offers a lot of useful facts about the diamond and gem trade.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There was a basic math question that must be done in your head without pencil or paper. Example: what is 10.5% of a $2,200 ring? And walk the interviewer through the process.
What are the steps you would take if you were counting inventory and realized there was a missing vintage diamond ring?
Overall quick and painless. Staff were kind and respectful! There was a screening, small assessment, and then interview with department management. The assessment was not too difficult and I felt the whole process was straightforward.

Interview
They were late to the interview, then they asked if I needed to reschedule after them being late. The chat was brief and dull, did not ask much - seemed like they already knew they didn't want to hire me. Upon rejection, I replied to see if I could get feedback on why I was rejected; they never responded. Overall, the experience wasn't too pleasant. I guess I'm glad I didn't join them.
