I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Brookdale Senior Living (Rancho Mirage, CA) in Jun 2016
Interview
The whole time my interviewer "warned" me how manotinus this job will be....ok He also couldn't tell me enough about how the residents are like children and how much they complain. Note I showed up to the interview 20 min early and he was 3 hours late. I actually was told at a point to "come back later" by the front receptionist. We're my red flags waving? Yes. Did I care at the time? No.

Question 1
About my old job and how I handled fussy customers.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Brookdale Senior Living (Mesa, AZ) in Jan 2023
Interview
The interviewer immediately went into the day to day duties of the job. The interviewer had no hesitation in hiring me on, probably due to my amount of relevant experience. However, because you are working with senior citizens, their background and drug check process takes a decent amount of time to go through. Do not expect to begin working immediately.

Question 1
Why do you want to work with senior citizens? Can you handle upset customers? Are you willing to socialize and learn about the senior citizens?
It took awhile all together, mainly because of the background checks, drug and alcohol test result return, and skin test results; but the actual interview itself wasn't long at all, and I didn't have to wait long for them to make up their minds.
