I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Buffalo Exchange (Costa Mesa, CA) in Sep 2019
Interview
It was my first time attempting to sell some clothes with my sister when I was approached by a staff member whom I would later learn was the Assistant Store Manager. He asked if I was interested in apply to be a buyer, which I was. A paper application form was provided for me to fill out after which he said he wanted to hold a spot interview at that time. He asked some simple interview questions then presented a bag of clothes to conduct a "mock buy". I totally butchered the buying test as I knew close to nothing about brands, trends, or resale. Based on his condescending response and our ensuing impersonal work relationship, I believe if I had not followed up with an online application for the position, I would have never received my call back. Thanks to his lack of documentation, the store manager reached out for a first interview, to which I feigned ignorance and the store manager apologetically held a "2nd" interview. Felt better about it and turns out so did she. Was called back for a third interview which was virtually a formal job offer meeting.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Buffalo Exchange (Brooklyn, NY) in Sep 2021
Interview
2 rounds, went really well, asked about current trends and styles as well as my own style and experience working in customer service before. Interviewers were super sweet and bubbly and wanted to get a feel for my personality overall.

Interview
The interview process had three separate interviews, each of which taking place on a different day. The first interview went over basic interview questions and the next two were more customized to Buffalo Exchange. I was asked to pull items from the sales floor that I felt were priced correctly/incorrectly and share knowledge of recent fashion trends.
