I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Burns & McDonnell in Jan 2019
Interview
Normal, no surprises, asked about experience and qualifications from my past jobs. Talked about company culture and perks. Had it with VP and HR manager.
Described the 100% employee owned benefit which I think is the most valuable.
Good and straightforward, they didn't have much of a reaction during the interview. In heavy industrial engineering, "no reaction" often means "no objections." Silence during the interview and throughout the process.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Burns & McDonnell (Raleigh, NC) in Oct 2025
Interview
The interview process included making a 10-15 minute long presentation about myself and my experience, followed by a 45 minute long interview. I was then taken to get lunch with the team to be able to ask questions to them in a more casual setting.
