Process was ok, people quite friendly. Had actually a good connection with the team. After the assessment tests, however, procedures grew more and more chaotic and seeminglyy unorganized- same with the feedback. It took approx. two weeks until you were informed if you made it to another round, I actually had to call several times myself, just to ask, if I am still considered to be in the process. Made it to the last round anyways. After another waiting period of about three weeks for feedback after the last interview, I received a call, that they now have decided to take another candidate in the recruitment process, as they don´t know exactly, what they want for the position and are not sure if they want somenone with more experience ( this only occured to them after 6 rounds of application process), they first have to have team meetings about the position in order to find out what they want and they will get back to me within two weeks. After that call I decided, that I am not interested in the position anymore, as this made a highly unprofessional impression on me and did not shed a positive light on the effectiveness of internal procedures nor on the general communication structures within the organization. I prefer a more professional working enviroment ( i.e. first know what you want and need to fill a position and then push the suitable candidates through an extensive application process , especially when we are talking about hard skills like years of experience- unsuitable candidates can be sorted out very quickly). I received another phone call after two weeks ( though I was not waiting anymore), that they now will offer a contract to someone else with more experience in years. Ok with me.
