First, you will speak with the supervisor and he will give you a broader understanding of the role and how you can excel at it. Then you will shadow someone and get to know some of the load planners. I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at C.H. Robinson (Plano, TX) in Aug 2017
Interview
Standard interview processes. I started off with a phone interview with the recruiter. I was called a day later by a second recruiter who told me I was overqualified and a better fit for a different position. I applied for the 2nd position and had another phone interview. I scheduled an in-person interview and that's where it went all downhill. I arrive for my interview at the office and wait for around 15 minutes. Nothing unusual sometimes hiring managers to forget or need to prep for the interview. The hiring manager then tells me the position I applied too is no longer available. It would have been nice to have been told that before I showed up and wasted my time.
I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at C.H. Robinson in May 2017
Interview
May 2017. My interview was a phone screening. The extent of the questions really said a lot about the company and position. I am glad I did not get the job. It would probably be too stressful.
