I applied through other source. I interviewed at C2 Education (McLean, VA) in Apr 2021
Interview
I want to highlight the ridiculous experience I had with C2 McLean in Virginia. THEY contacted ME through a job board and asked for my time to do a Zoom interview. I graciously agreed, having worked for a different C2 group in the past. I had a stupid idea that maybe this one would be different.
WRONG.
After a lengthy discussion about tutoring and the subjects I can teach, the center director said he was very enthused and would get right back to me.
THAT WAS FOUR WEEKS AGO. This contemptuous attitude to tutors is reflected in many reviews from C2 centers. It is disrespectful and unprofessional. It just goes to show how C2 managers are greedy salesmen and nothing more.
I STRONGLY ADVISE AVOIDING THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ENJOY EXPLOITATION AND CONTEMPT.
Easy going. Simple interview with multiple rounds. Very friendly people. asked basic questions. Tested knowledge of both math and English to determine my fit in the role. Would recommened. Very friendly staff and hiring team.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at C2 Education (Georgia, LA) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview process was straightforward and conversational. I first completed an online application and was later contacted by a hiring manager for a virtual interview. The discussion focused on my teaching experience, communication skills, ability to work with students of different learning styles, and how I approach standardized test preparation. The interviewer also explained the training process, scheduling expectations, and company culture. Overall, the process felt organized and welcoming.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at C2 Education (Edison, NJ) in May 2024
Interview
The interview process is very simple.
Usually a center director will reach out after you applied and have you sit in for a mock test to see your qualifications. Based on your score, they will ask basic things "why tutoring, what subjects are you also willing to teach..."
