Question 1
Who is the top semiconductor company at this time?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at C3 AI in Feb 2022
Interview
Applied online, got an email from a recruiter in just a few minutes. First interview was with a product manager, after that a writing assessment. Next step was an interview with the head of sales engineering.
Overall, the process was fine. Scheduling interviews was fairly difficult and they got moved around multiple times. It was a new role at the time of the interview, so I got varying descriptions of what the job actually was. I got a different offer that was more compelling, so I withdrew from the process.

Question 1
How would you describe the benefits of AI to a commercial customer?
A standard process with 4 to 5 interviews from HR to engineering, sales, and CTO.
The issue with C3 AI is the company's lack of empathy for its applicants.
Communication is unclear and unprecise, deadlines to provide a formal answer are not respected, and HR prefers to ghost you instead of giving the correct information. No matter your own priorities or constraints.
Despite a positive outcome and an unofficial offer, C3 prefers to make you wait three months, saying "the validation process is long" instead of saying they are not recruiting anymore. They keep you dreaming, hoping you will pause your life for 6 months until they choose the right time to send you the contract.
