I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at C3 AI (Redwood City, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
I initially heard about the job from an email sent to a university student list. I followed up and was referred internally. I was sent a HackerRank challenge which consisted of a straightforward programming task and a couple of machine learning questions. Then I scheduled an in-person interview. I met with two people (though I was supposed to meet with three) and they asked questions about projects I worked on and whiteboard coding problems.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
What was your favorite project that you worked on?
Write a function that is given a number n and returns all numbers between 0 and n that are divisible by some other number (or something like that... I don't exactly remember).
3 Rounds.
(INTERVIEW IS HELD IN ENGLISH)
1st Round: Screening, talk about your cv, study enough to have mastery over the subjects your projects cover. Investigate company values, why you want to join.
2nd Round: 60 min technical live coding interview. Depending on position it ranges from a leetcode medium to a hard.
3rd Round: Didnt get thru, Ive heard its a intro systems design interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Leetcode medium, string manipulation type of question.
Technical interviews, they ask coding and algorithmic problems, there is also a soft skills section with STAR like questions. Results come back fast, which I think was nice. Usually there are three rounds of interviews
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at C3 AI (Guadalajara, Jalisco) in Apr 2025
Interview
