Interview
Recruiter reached out to me, and sent a standard 3-question Hackerrank assessment. Passed all test cases for all questions under time limit. Scheduled 1-hour video interview. Recruiter reached out to let me know to expect a mixed technical/behavioral interview. The interviewer mostly spoke about the company at length (during which asking only two behavioral questions) for 45 minutes, and then presented a poorly-worded array search/iteration question in a shared coder-typer. I presented brute-force approach, and then when I was about to move on to the optimized approach, the interviewer asked me to code the brute-force first, which wasted the majority of my remaining time. After coding brute-force, I got cut off at 1-hour mark. Not nearly enough time to adequately address question and present optimized approach. Beware.
