I applied online. The process took 9 months. I interviewed at CBRE in Oct 2023
Interview
9 months, 13 interviews, 3 different roles (two of which I was actively recruited for) all within the same company and I found out today they've gone internally. Again. For the third time.
It is unkind to open jobs externally if you are only going to hire from within. I love the internal advocacy, but those people all already have jobs. To open externally and drag someone along for so many months who does not have a job is nothing short of cruel.

Question 1
How would you handle it if you were put in this role and had to manage someone who wanted the role but didn't get it?
Interview with Hiring Manager directly after short Screening from TA. Friendly people but lack to describe the hiring process properly. Discussed about my background, experience, and motivations. Then asked a few situational questions to understand how i will react to different scenareos
