I was referred to the organization through a current employee and was promptly contacted by a recruiter. The recruiter was very detailed and knowledgable. After the initial screening by the recruiter, I was introduced to the hiring manager who spoke on the phone to determine if we should meet for a face to face interview. This call lasted about an hour and we discussed both what I had to offer and the companies strengths. I was asked about opportunities I had worked in the past and how I managed them. I was also given a ball park on the compensation plan.
When meeting face to face, I brought some sample proposals I had done and this meeting was pretty simple after the detail we covered on the phone. I asked a few more detailed questions about the organizational strategy and weaknesses.
