I applied on my lunch break and an hour later I had a voicemail and an email from a recruiter saying they were very interested and would like to schedule a time to talk. Three hours after that, I received a generic rejection email. I proceeded to email the recruiter back later that day to get clarification and schedule a follow-up. I provided my availability per his request. After hearing nothing for 2 days I sent another follow-up email and was told they were no longer interested. After going through this process I think I dodged a bullet. If their recruiting, hiring and communication processes are this sloppy and unprofessional, then this isn't a company I want to work for. I can't imagine how poorly things are run.
