The process took 2 days. I interviewed at CGI (Bengaluru)
Interview
My profile was shortlisted and I attended 1 telephonic interview in their office. I was in their Bangalore office and interviewer was from Chennai office. I was called fir F2F interview on weekdays post lunch. I took a leave from my current company and went for the interview. It was scheduled for 3PM and I reached around at 2:45 P.M., then the HR asked, can you come on next day and I told no. Then she talked with technical pannel and informed me to wait for 30 minutes. Then they took 2 technical round and 1 HR round. I was able to clear the interview. HR told that, it was for Bangalore location and salary was negotiated to 8LPA. Then the next day I was asked for all soft copies of academic certificates and all my previous and current company documents and I sent over mail. My current package was 6LPA and my current company was providing free lunch (veg & non-veg) everyday and Rs.1000 wallet coupon, which was apart from my CTC. HR of CGI committed to give 8LPA for Bangalore location, but while giving offer letter, they give 6LPA for Chennai location.
My concern is if you can't provide package, then why you people shortlist the interview and why you commit in HR round. And more over , why you change the location on the fly.
