Initial zoom screening with in-house recruiter in Toronto who was great. Second interview with a merchandiser who was new to nyc and an HR assistant (ok?) who clearly had an issue with me from the start. Condescending, underqualified to interview and basically were smugly laughing at my well-crafted responses, to the point of asking me if I had different examples of each question. They were complaining to me about how small the stockroom is in their soho store- these are not business people. Hasn't the stockroom always been the same? I had to keep reminding them of my resume, as it was clear neither had glanced at it. "What are 3 skills you have" -seriously? Then I was ghosted- very professional. I am sorry to see that this is where the brand's nyc presence has gone, but it isn't surprising.

I applied in early April and had my final interview in early May. The interviewer told me they would get back to me in two weeks. I followed up after two weeks, and they asked for more time, possibly until the end of May. I sent an email in the last week of May to follow up, asking if they could give me the result within the timeframe, but I did not receive a response. There is still one day left until the end of May; however, with no update or response, I am left wondering if I passed or not (I’m assuming by the time of this writing that I didn’t). If I didn’t pass, I would appreciate it if they could at least let me know ahead of time instead of extending my waiting time.
