Applied online then a couple of weeks later got a call inviting me to an assessment day.
At the assessment day there were 5 other candidates. Firstly we had an ice breaker where we had to draw 3 things that described ourselves and why we wanted to work for COS.
Second task we were given a situation where we had to prioritse tasks individually then discuss it as a group and come to a unaminous agreement. It really is common sense just make sure you read the sheet ***properly***, if you've already worked in retail it'll be easy for you.
Third task we had a group styling exercise where we had to design a shop window for Spring/Summer, just make sure you understand the brand asthetic, look at a current store front and look at how they style garments on the website.
Finally I had a one on one interview with the store manager which felt more conversational basic questions about my plans, long term/short term goals, holidays etc
All in all, it was pretty relaxed and fun. Just make sure you really understand the brand and do your research.
