I was called for a phone interview less than 24 hours after submitting my resumé to the company. I talked to a very nice recruiter over the phone who asked me about my schedule, previous work history and my willingness to move, stand, and so on.
She went through the whole process of getting hired, including sending in the paperwork and background check information. It was exactly as she described. She then went on to ask me the "formal" interview questions.
Questions such as when have you worked your hardest, tell me a time when you've gone above and beyond for a customer, how do you adjust to a new work environment. I gave her some good answers and she was very impressed and offered me the job immediately.
After the phone interview ended, I received the paperwork information in my email, did the online portion, did the in-person portion which consisted of signing an I-9 and getting a friend to witness that process and then waited over the weekend. The paperwork took less than a week. The whole process actually took less than a week. This could be because the team I work on was shorthanded or because doing the paperwork online speeds up the process.
