First step is the phone interview, then second interview with 2 managers-1 guy and 1 girl, kind of deal. Both had very good poker faces, but overall average interview. Unfortunately my interview started out weird. I felt as if one of the managers was trying to throw shade regarding my education. I went to trade school and I don't have a degree. I started my family while I was in high school. My work experience ranges from health insurance and claims....and to add I currently work as an Adjuster for another company which I did not hide on my resume. I was looking to grow and the company I currently work for does not have a lot of opportunities. Overall, I think this tells me what I already know. The auto insurance industry is a male dominated industry. Men don't take kindly to independent or working women. Energetically I could tell he was on his high horse. He gave a lot of fake smiles throughout the interview. Most likely he is not as supportive with the female employees versus the males. Which keeps the cycle of toxicity in the workplace going because of traditional thinking. Its funny how these company's promote diversity and scream "we're innovative" but the individuals that have the power to add to the company, behind closed doors, strive to go against the company's mission statement. I don't feel bad about not getting the offer. On to the next one.
