it is a pretty simple process. Apply online at the company web site, if you are accepted you will then be required to pass the classroom training, train on the job for 3 months and after that you are turned loose to ride the rails.

there are multiple interviews. the hiring process is demanding. there is a written test, an interview, a physical test, and the stringent drug testing. the drug test is a hair sample which tests months prior to the test.
