Met with the district manager in one of the stores. He was a pretty nice guy. The interview was more conversational versus rapid fire questions about business acumen or experience. He did ask for references and advised that he would be following up with them.

I made it far into the interview process. I was ready to make the leap to start training and had verbally agreed to training and the salary. I was given the news that I was not chosen for the training position because they decided to hire someone with more recent retail experience. My experience was not as recent because I pursued a college degree and was unable to work during that time. Also, I was not chosen because I was not Bilingual, although it wasn't a requirement it was strongly preferred.
