They wanted to know if my high school math grades were in the top 5% of my cohort. I went to high school 25 years ago and I don't have the transcripts anymore. I can't remember my own grades, let alone those of others in my class (?!), so how am I supposed to calculate my placing relative to my cohort?
Found the focus on high school disrespectful and dismissive of the previous 25 years of my life.

I applied online. I interviewed at Canonical (Amsterdam) in Oct 2025
Interview
There is a long written interview, which took 3-4 pages to answer, and followed up with a matrigma test. The matrigma test is pretty basic, it consists of 4/5 different tests, they are verbal, logical, etc. I got 3 tests resulting in higher than the average, and the last 2 test results were just average.
