I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Canonical
Interview
You have go through long and tedious one sided interview before you can even have actual interaction with the interviewer in person.
You have to spent 4-5 hours to write 3-4 pages long essay, answer 20+ questions, and another technical assessment which they expect you to immediately complete it in 2 hours after you have received the question from them, with no regards to whether the candidate is actually available to do the assessment currently.

Question 1
How comprehensive is your understanding on Linux distributions?
8 stages for a non c suite role seemed really outrageous, and I highlighted the company culture negatively from the start and some of the stages seemed irrelevant for the role.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Canonical
Interview
Muy largo y tedioso. Al final te piden algo que pueden ser 3 o 4 horas de tu vida para filtrar pero el feedback que te dan es bastante random. Porque lo revisa otra persona y no la que te hace la entrevista
it was ok, essay, recruiter call, 5 interviews and 2 hacker rank assesments. not biased but felt like interviewer was reading off a word doc 0 emotion. other than that i dont know what the hacker rank was for.. completely unrelated enginering questions than the job description of course.
