I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Canonical in Sep 2024
Interview
Honestly, this was the worst interview process I've ever experienced. It started with a bunch of time-consuming questions (which is also criticized). Although the conversation with three colleagues was very pleasant, the take-home assignment assigned after that was exactly their actual design challenge. In fact, I wanted to withdraw this application because the salary expectations and benefits were really average after the conversation, but the HM still urged me to complete this assignment. After I spent time completing a practical challenge, they rejected me with a very templated email. I think they did not respect my time, and I agree with others: 🚩🚩🚩 run!

Interview
I got an email that I will get a written interview as a first phase of interview, then I found there are alot of questions that are related deep into the company and it's work which I see not something good as a very early stage of interview, but I applied and studied and sent the answers which I thought would be for sure accepted as there was nothing personal or technical, but unfortunately they just sent me a rejection which was something made me nervous as I see it something with no reason to learn a lot of detailed info about a company at this early stage.
