The process is insufferable and very long. There are more or less 7 interviews, including a written one and a personalized presentation about one of their solutions. In my case, I reached the end of the process, they loved my profile, my experience and my skills, they also praised my presentation. They made me an offer on a Friday and I accepted it, on Monday they were supposed to send me the contract and confirm the start date (according to them it was urgent, for which I already had to notify my company that I was going to resign for another job, because I was expected to start in the next 15 days). However, this mail never arrived. Instead, they called me saying my hire was terminated, because the CEO read my written interview from 2 months ago in which I replied that math was not my favorite subject during HIGH SCHOOL (yeah, not kidding). Obviously, I thought it was a joke, but no, it's as ridiculous as it sounds, the clown in charge of the company put me down for my tastes in SCHOOL and they made me waste my time with countless interviews for something from 2 months ago. In short, they wasted my time and made me quit my company for nothing. You can tell from the hiring process that they don't care about people and that they are a disastrous company in terms of human resources and organization. If you see an opening at Canonical, walk away!
